 “JA DAY”

Looking for ways to make a difference in the lives of children?

Do you want to make an impact on the future workforce of our community?

JA Day is a partnership between Junior Achievement and Polk County Schools to provide an in-school economic field day to students in kindergarten through middle school.

JA Day is a volunteer lead, fun filled day that teaches students about the economics of life through hands-on activities. As a JA Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your organization, presentation, leadership, group management and team building skills.

JA Day  commitment is to teach all lessons over a 3 ½ hour morning. You will receive materials at your training to prepare you for the JA Day.

It is our hope that through your participation in the JA program, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the value education plays in obtaining their future goals.

Junior Achievement is one of the largest non-profit education organizations whose mission is to help students understand the relevance of education to the workplace.
